BEAUTIFUL WHEELS FOR BEAUTIFUL RIDES – MAAIKE COLJE’S PINARELLO DOGMA GRAVEL + REYNOLDS ATR
Maaike Coljé’s Pinarello Dogma GR + REYNOLDS ATR
Some bikes are adapted to gravel. Others are born from racing. Maaike Coljé’s Pinarello Dogma GR sits firmly in the latter category. It is not a softened road bike, nor an overbuilt adventure machine. It is a purebred gravel race platform, built by applying Pinarello’s road racing DNA directly to the demands of modern off-road competition.

Road DNA, Reimagined for Gravel
The Dogma GR is the clearest expression of Pinarello’s belief that gravel, at its highest level, is about speed. Derived from the legendary Dogma F, it carries over the same responsiveness, stiffness, and aerodynamic intent, while integrating key adaptations for mixed terrain. The frame is built from advanced M40X carbon fiber, delivering a structure that is lightweight, reactive, and durable under load. Geometry remains aggressively race-oriented, ensuring sharp handling and immediate power transfer, while generous tire clearance up to 42–45 mm allows the bike to adapt to varied terrain without sacrificing its performance edge. That tire clearance is not incidental. It places the Dogma GR squarely within the optimal performance window of the Reynolds ATR platform, which is engineered to deliver its highest aerodynamic efficiency and ride quality with 35–45 mm tires. The result is a pairing where frame and wheel are not just compatible, but perfectly aligned in intent. Maximum efficiency. Maximum control. No compromise.

Built for the Demands of Modern Gravel
Gravel racing today is defined by constant change. Hardpack to loose gravel. Smooth sectors to technical terrain. High speeds followed by moments that demand precision and control. The Dogma GR is engineered for exactly that environment. It combines the speed and responsiveness of a road race bike with the traction, compliance, and stability required off-road, creating a platform that thrives in the unpredictable nature of modern gravel racing. For a rider like Maaike, stepping into her first full season of gravel, that balance is essential.

The Reynolds Connection
At the center of Maaike’s build are Reynolds wheels, completing a system that shares the same philosophy as the frame itself. Much like the Dogma GR, the Reynolds ATR is designed to perform across conditions. Lightweight and efficient under power, yet engineered with the durability required for long-distance racing, it delivers performance that remains consistent deep into the race. With its refined DET2 rim profile, the ATR reaches peak aerodynamic performance in the same 35–45 mm tire range that the Dogma GR is designed to accommodate. This creates a seamless integration between frame and wheel, where aerodynamics, handling, and compliance work together rather than in isolation. A frame designed to be fast everywhere. A wheelset designed to perform everywhere. Together, they remove compromise from the equation.

Performance That Carries Through
Gravel racing rewards more than speed. It rewards resilience. The ability to maintain performance as fatigue builds. As terrain deteriorates. As conditions shift. That is where both the Dogma GR and Reynolds wheels distinguish themselves. They are not built for a moment. They are built for the entirety of the effort. Because in races like The Traka or The Rift, performance is not defined at the start line. It is defined hours later.
