The G30 Expert features a double-wall, welded-joint aluminum rim in 700c, built with durability and versatility in mind. Its 26 mm internal, hooked, tubeless-ready channel supports higher-volume gravel and MTB tires from 40 mm to 56 mm, a nod to riders who see the road’s end as the start of the adventure.

Every Reynolds wheel is engineered as a complete system, and the G30 Expert is no exception. At its center is the SRX hub, selected for its perfect balance of strength and efficiency. A straight-pull shell design maximizes spoke integrity, while the three-pawl, 30-tooth ratchet provides crisp 12-degree engagement for fast, consistent power transfer. It’s a hub built for reliability and refined performance, mile after mile. Upon first inspection the hub is unassuming but its secret to amazing performance and reliability lies in its development process.

The SRX hub is built via Reynolds ULD (Ultra Low Drag) development approach. ULD is the Reynolds engineering approach that scrutinizes every freehub component, geometry, material, and interaction, to eliminate unnecessary drag and maximize efficiency. By refining pawl profiles, engagement geometry, spring rates, and surface finishes, Reynolds converts more rider input into forward motion without compromising durability. The result is crisp, reliable engagement and effortless speed, achieved through meticulous design rather than shortcuts.
